I hate CATS
The cat across the road keeps getting me into trouble. When I see her I run away from home to go chase her, and Dad gives me a hard time when I go back home!
Here she is actually on MY SIDE OF THE ROAD! What a nerve!

Spring coming to Chilworth Reserve
At last Chilworth Reserve is filling out with greenery and looking lovely!
No doubt all the recent rain is responsible. Whatever, I just love walking in the park

New Offices for Ray White Beecroft
Ray White Beecroft moved across the roadway to 14 Hannah Street. Master's desk is now right at the back, and there's a nice comfortable sofa there. At first I was a bit nervous about all the changes.
But now I am settled, and feel quite relaxed.Muddy Bone
Several days ago I dug up a bone and took it in to mum as a birthday present, but she seemed upset at all the mud on it. You may remember a couple of years ago I brought her a dead possum, which dad threw away. This time dad threw the bone back out into the garden. Next morning mom found it again in the bedroom. Recognising my determination, dad washed all the mud off it and put it outside, and to show my appreciation I brought it back in next day.
Now I can't find it. Surely dad didn't throw it away, after all my hard work?

Swimming at Bayview
I used to be terrified of water but over Christmas my mom and dad took me to Bayview Park where at least 40 dogs and their families were cavorting in the water so I went in to try it.
This is me bravely swimming out to my dad, I wish he wouldn't go QUITE so far out, I am still very nervous.

Best Friend Big Iggi
Chilworth Restored to Public Use
The M2 people have finished working under the viaducts of Chilworth Recreation Reserve, and built a really nice wooden bridge over the creek, and lined the sides of the creek with big boulders, great fun (for a dog) to climb over. I am now very happy to be able to go on long walks north and south of the M2 in this lovely park! I have met lots of nice dogs in the park, and several rather scary Bush Turkeys! Fortunately those strange looking birds seem to be more scared of me than I am of them!
Blind Replacement
This was what I did to the blinds in the front bedroom, three years ago. Master thinks I got caught in the blinds and panicked, but in fact I just found the thin sheets of pine tasty and crunchy. They had someone in measuring up for new blinds yesterday, I hope they go for the same type. I haven't really done anything to earn reproach recently, and maybe they think I am getting soft!

A Weekend to Remember
I've just spent the weekend on a houseboat on the Hawkesbury! I confess I found it pretty nerve-wracking, all that water all around us, and sometimes the boat moved!

More Restrictions!
Master took me to a house he was examining with the owner, leaving me to roam the gardens while they went down into the basement. I went to see what they were doing, it was really damp and creepy, I loved it. But the owner doesn't like dogs so Master told me to go out. As always I obeyed, then after a couple of minutes I went back in. Master took me out, put me on my lead, and tied me to a railing. He said stay, so I did, until I had eaten through my lead, then I went back in with a little bit of my lead hanging from my collar. That basement is really a creepy place! However Master wasn't pleased to see me again, so I spent the rest of the visit locked in the car. Back home, mom thought I looked cute with my little dangling lead!
Anyway now Master has bought me a nice shiny metal chain link lead! Not even my friend Mia the huge alsatian has one of those! Gives me Bragging Rights!

Mom's birthday present
Everyone brought presents for mom's birthday, all wrapped in pretty paper. So next morning I brought her a present, and was just wrapping it up in dad's dressing gown on the bedroom floor, when mom spotted me and got upset. I thought a dead possum was a great present but she didn't agree.

Dog Tired
What a weekend! First on Saturday Neil came round with his two schweitzers, normally I don't like little dogs but they are so cute! We played a lot.
Then Nelson, a big black collie type came for a tryout, if approved he will be staying with us for a few days in February. An interesting dog! Mom explained that the reason for his naughty behaviour was that he was neutered at two years old, and is left with habits from his misspent youth. I was rather flattered by his attentions. When he wasn't trying to rape me we played a lot.
Then on Sunday Loki, another DontFretPet candidate came, a lovely four year old sherpa type dog, we played a lot, although to be honest I was tiring by then.
Finally we were taken down the road to meet a lovely little black labradoodle puppy called Iggi or something. We played A LOT until I could hardly stand up. Mom kept saying that I won't be able to wrestle him to the ground after he grows a bit, but I don't know, he looked a bit of a softy to me. Anyway I got him down heaps of times today.
Anyway after all that I am, litterally, Dog Tired! But I just couldn't get to sleep, remembering all those lovely new friends.

Another DontFretPet Visitor
While her owners were away on holiday this lovely girl Mia came to stay. She was so sweet, and we had lots of lovely walks. So she couldn't get at my food while i was thinking about eating it, Master started hand feeding us, sitting side by side, and Mia was a perfect lady, never trying to grab my chicken neck.
I had to laugh though on Saturday morning when there was a thunderstorm. The great big brave dog became an absolute sook, jumping up on the bed and trying to hide in the mattress. Notice me looking suitably cool.

Boomerang Bone
Linus has his comfort blanket, I have Boomerang Bone. Master keeps throwing it out into the garden, but I just keep bringing it back. He will tire first!
Here I am reading the Economist, and Master is teasing me because I need my comfort bone! So unfair. I need BB to help me concentrate, the Economist is quite hard to grasp!

Hard at Work
I do love being involved with sales meetings.
Ray White Beecroft's executive committee hard at work (that's me, second on the left, by the boss).

Off Leash Dog Parks - Ryde Council's Trial
Epping Park must be my favourite place in all the world - other than mom's bed.
Nothing beats mom's bed!

Off Leash Dog Parks - Ryde Council's Trial
Ryde Council has postponed the debate on off leash parks until 8 June. Please make sure you tell them how much we dogs love those parks!
This is me at Epping, but I have been to several other local off leash parks and love them all.
